CARE of DC is a non-profit, “No Kill" animal rescue dedicated to the rehab and placement of homeless animals. They will be joining us in the courtyard with an informational booth about fostering and adopting animals from their rescue! Along with information, they will also be bringing a few adoptable dogs.

They do require adopters to have an approved application before they can adopt (all done online linked here). It is strongly recommended to submit your application before the event. If you haven’t applied, but are really interested in a dog or a puppy that they have with them that day, you can put an application in on your phone. As long as they are able to reach all the people that they need to speak to, they’ll be able to approve your application on-site.
